Born and raised in Oss, but now living in the glorious city of Nijmegen. Originally having studied English Language and Culture at the Radboud University, and later the research master Linguistics at Utrecht University, I only made the switch to IT after my graduation. I’m very passionate about all things creative: great stories, music, games, and films are my life. In my spare time, I love to write, play (board)games as well as tabletop roleplaying games, and I play in a progressive melodic metal band.
My interest in programming has always been there while modding games back in my high school years, but it took a while before I decided to do something with it. In February 2019, I started an IT traineeship at Educom Arnhem, and I instantly knew this was the right track for me. Coming from a scientific background, I know how to tackle and analyse complex logic problems, which has helped compensate for the lack of experience in the field. Here at Fabriquartz, I’m continuing my traineeship and I learn a lot each day.
