I come from a capital dubbed “the Silicon Valley of Europe” – Tallinn, and now have found a new home in Nijmegen. Having fun in life is important to me and I tend to find it in simple things: learning new skills, sharing ideas with friends, playing electric bass, finding myself in picturesque places in nature, cooking ‘lekker’ food, enjoying Chinese tea, designing apparel, playing with my cat and discovering new forest paths with my dog.
I want to spread environmental awareness and help to solve global issues with software engineering. What I love about programming is that you know when something goes right or wrong, there is no space for ambiguity. Having spent childhood in Estonia, I had to attend computer classes from an early age and from that developed a wider interest in learning how to build my ideas into the virtual world. Before joining Fabriquartz, I did linguistic programming for Microsoft and worked on project-basis in both, back- and front-end, helping to develop web applications for a variety of startups.
